Excavation & Earthworks
Excavation in Melbourne
Site cuts, bulk and detailed digs, footings, trenching and tight-access work.
01Overview
Most of the work that follows depends on the dig being right. Wrong levels, a sloppy batter or a cut in the wrong place cost every trade after us.
We handle residential and commercial excavation across Melbourne and the South-East, from tight-access backyards to full house sites. The machine is matched to the job, we work to your plans and levels, and the site is left ready for the next trade.

02How it runs
From first look to handover.
Step 01
Look at the job
Plans, photos or a site visit. We check access, levels, soil and where the spoil is going.
Step 02
Quote and plan
A clear scope, the right machine for the access, and a start date you can plan around.
Step 03
Dig to levels
Set-out and levels checked as we go. Batters cut clean and edges kept tidy.
Step 04
Hand over
Spoil gone, site tidy, ready for formwork, footings, walls or landscaping.
03Good to know
Before you book.
- 01
Underground services need locating before we dig. Lodge a free Before You Dig Australia (BYDA) request, or we can talk you through it.
- 02
Access decides the machine. Measure your narrowest gate or side path and let us know when you enquire.
- 03
Spoil is often the biggest variable in cost. Clean fill, mixed spoil and rock are handled differently.

05FAQ
Common questions.
Can you get a machine into a tight backyard?
Usually, yes. We run smaller excavators for tight access. Send us the narrowest width on the way in and we'll tell you what fits.
Do you take the spoil away?
Yes. We can load and cart spoil with our own truck, so the dig and removal are one booking.
What do you need to quote?
Plans (if you have them), the address, a few photos of the area and access, and roughly when you need it done.
Need excavation & earthworks?
Tell us what you're working on and we'll discuss the excavation, equipment and site requirements.
