Site Cuts & Final Trim
Site cuts in Melbourne
House site cuts dug to levels and trimmed ready for slab or footings.
01Overview
A site cut sets the whole build. If the pad is off, the slab, the drainage and the retaining are all off too.
We cut house sites to the engineer's and builder's levels, trim clean batters and leave the pad ready for the slab crew. We also cart the spoil, so there's one contractor to deal with.

03Good to know
Before you book.
- 01
We need the soil report and the engineer's levels before we cut.
- 02
Deep cuts or cuts near boundaries may need retaining. Plan it now, not after.
- 03
Rock is common in parts of the South-East. A rock breaker attachment keeps the job moving.

05FAQ
Common questions.
Do you do the footings as well?
Yes. Footings, piers and trenching can be done in the same booking.
What happens if we hit rock?
We run rock breaker attachments, so in most cases we deal with it on the day. We'll talk to you before it changes the cost.
